MODO | Convert Curves Scripts
The Pushing Points Convert Curves Scripts for MODO 10.2 are a set of six scripts designed to speed up the conversion process of switching curve types. Each script reduces the process to one click as well as retaining the original curve. The example in the image below was created using the Curve2Bezier option.
To install, place the files in the root of your MODO scripts folder and then launch MODO. The tools will be available in the Curve Palette.
In Polygon component mode, select a curve mesh item and click on one of the tools to convert from the current curve type to the desired type. The new curve will be created from the existing verts that make up the original curve and placed in a new mesh item. If there are not enough verts to maintain the same shape as the original, simply subdivide the original curve (D) to add additional verts along the curve and run the tool again.
