Lighting Your Desktop with SLIK2 - MODO
In this video we spend around half an hour lighting a desktop scene inside of MODO 11.1. We use SLIK2 which is a MODO kit that you can purchase from Foundry today. It has plenty of lighting tools, a light board, material overrides, material presets, HDR baker, HDR swapper, studio sets and much more. The principals used here can certainly be applied without SLIK2 and just using basic light functionalities. We also brush through some comp tips using the render outputs using Adobe After Effects and additional plugin tools. Most of the assets can be found for free laying around the internet.
