MODO Octane | Mixed Material
How do you make a panther candle? Start with one panther....dip in wax...add a wick and deduct hospital bills.
Also, you can use a mix material in Octane for MODO. Mix materials allow you to blend Octane's multiple material types..in this video I'll be mixing a diffuse material with a scattering medium (SSS) with a glossy material to give us that shiny candle highlight.
Let's talk speed...on duel 1080 TI's Octane rendered this in seconds...like...just a few seconds. Pretty impressive.
