Gary

Intrepid animator and family man Brian Vowles has a new short film about a ‘rescue’ monster named ‘Gary’. While some of us may bring home an abandoned Golden Retriever or Labradoodle…Brian brought home some kind of giant alien scorpion….’thing’. Great concept and wonderfully animated and composited.

“I shot it with my iPhone XR and Filmic Pro, I animated in Maya, (Some shots Started in Modo with the camera matcher and I FBX’ed that to Maya)... Animations with Alembic to Modo (for rendering),       renders to NUKE INDY (for compositing)!!!    Edited in Premiere.”
